Scribe Video Center's 25th Anniversary Party

Please join WHYY and Scribe Video Center for a special reception to kick off the 25th anniversary celebration and preview of the broadcast premiere of Scribe's Precious Places Community History Project on WHYY TV 12.

Scribe's Precious Places Community History Project reveals bypassed neighborhood sites as bright landmarks. Produced and directed by neighborhood  residents from 41 diverse communities from across Philadelphia, Camden, NJ, Chester, PA and Ardmore, PA, this collection of portraits combines oral history, personal archives and contemporary footage to redefine the region.  Some of these short documentaries uncover long forgotten histories, some explore contemporary issues; all celebrate the places we call home.

Scribe's Precious Places Community History Project will air on TV12 on Sunday evenings at 11:30PM, starting on October 7th.
