Join me in the WHYY-TV studios, 150 N. 6th Street in Philadelphia, on Tuesday, March 4 at 6:30 p.m. for the premiere broadcast of the new WHYY-TV production "The Philly Food Show," a tour of 200 years of the Delaware Valley's contributions to the worlds of haute cuisine and street food. We'll get to sample many of the local taste treats featured in the program -- from cheese steaks and hoagies to soft pretzels and salt water taffy -- and hear WHYY Producer Ed Cunningham's behind-the-scenes insights about the making of this regional culinary tour. At 8 p.m., we'll watch the premiere broadcast live and be part of the action during WHYY's March TV membership drive.
