WHYY members are invited to a special event celebrating WHYY's new weekly Arts & Culture series, On Canvas. Watch a sneak preview of the first episode of On Canvas, which showcases the local non-profit organization Intercultural Journeys. This special evening includes a live musical performance by Native American flute virtuoso R. Carlos Nakai and Philadelphia Orchestra cellist Udi Bar-David (pictured above right), whose new collaboration is called Voyagers. WHYY's Ed Cunningham will talk with the performers about their vision of bridging cultural barriers through music.

About On Canvas: This new weekly WHYY series will offer compelling, behind-the-scenes stories about the region's cultural life. This program explores well-known destinations and hidden treasures as it aims to increase cultural awareness and heighten participation in the arts.
