Tuesday, May 13 at 11:30am - Pee Wee Preakness in Federal Hill Park, located on Warren Street near Battery Avenue, Baltimore.
Junior jockeys have a Preakness of their own with a lively race! Youngsters, ages 10 and under, race to the finish line on bouncy hippity hops at the annual MECU's Pee Wee Preakness. Festivities begin at 11:30am. with MPT's Bob the Vid Tech, who performs a live, interactive show. Children charge out of the starting gate for the big race at noon. Local mascots will cheer on the jockeys as they bounce their way down the finish line. Pee Wee Preakness is a part of Preakness Celebration, a series of events preparing Baltimore for the 133rd annual running of the Preakness Stakes on May 17. Presented by Mayor Sheila Dixon and MECU, Baltimore’s Credit Union, Pee Wee Preakness is produced by the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts and Preakness Celebration.

May 15-17 - Preakness Celebration Balloon Festival at Turf Valley Resort in Howard County. Twenty hot air balloons - three days - six events, including balloon tether rides, PeeWee Preakness, mass ascensions of hot air balloons, Balloon Glow on May 15 and 16 at 8:30pm and more! On May 15 at 3:30pm and 6:30pm, come see Bob the Vid Tech and MPT's Vid Kid Road Show in the Grand Ballroom, main building at Turf Valley.

Saturday, May 17, at 3pm -- Jane Austen Tea Party at the Crown & Thistle Tea Room in Sparks. 
Jane Austen fans will love this fun afternoon. "Jane Austen" will be in attendance to share with tea-goers the customs and social ideas of the Austen era. This tea benefits MPT with $5 from each tea being donated to MPT, plus proceeds from the raffle of a High Tea for 4.

Tuesday, May 27, at 8pm -- Andre Rieu Concert at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore. Friday, June 6, at 8pm -- The Duprees Concert, an MPT exclusive concert at the Lyric Opera House in Baltimore, will feature The Duprees ("You Belong to Me"), The Four Lads ("Moments to Remember"), The Four Aces ("Love Is a Many Splendored Thing") and Lenny Welch ("Since I Fell for You").  The Orioles, led by original member Diz Russell, celebrate their 60th anniversary with this concert.
