Friday, June 6, at 8pm -- The Duprees Concert, an MPT exclusive concert at the Lyric Opera House in Baltimore, will feature The Duprees ("You Belong to Me"), The Four Lads ("Moments to Remember"), The Four Aces ("Love Is a Many Splendored Thing") and Lenny Welch ("Since I Fell for You"). The Orioles, led by original member Diz Russell, celebrate their 60th anniversary with this concert. The Baltimore group is considered by many historians to have recorded the first doo-wop song ("It's too Soon to Know").
